About
Some people have a coin hobby. Or a stamp hobby. Or a needlepoint hobby. I have a hobby hobby–I keep collecting more of them. There’s cakes, and sewing, and pretty much anything that involves making something.
You may find that this blog gets neglected, as I have a lot more to say in other places:
- opensource.com — here’s my profile and posts
- GeekMom — here are my posts
- Maker Faire:NC
You can also find me on Twitter and identi.ca as @suehle.

I linked to your article about 5 ipad alternatives. Nice work! I like creating/cooking stuff too so I checked out your blog. Fun.
Hi Ruth! Pardon the _non sequitur_ query, but I have a “tartan” question; in your September 2012 _Wired_ article “Twelve Fictional Characters With Officially Registered Tartans” the link to the Roslin Roseline Da Vinci page shows a Sinclair-related tartan which is markedly different from the article Sophie has draped over her shoulders at the end of the movie (which contains red and yellow). After surfing the net I’ve been unable to identify this particular tartan … Any suggestions for this incurable trivia buff? Merci! rB
